What Does an Account Supervisor, Market Access Do?This role serves as a daily contact for clients and agency partners to plan, execute, and manage marketing campaigns for assigned clients.
The Account Supervisor should be comfortable with participation in crafting marketing strategies, brand and tactical plans/recommendations for clients focused on engaging traditional market access stakeholders (health plans, pharmacy benefit management companies, integrated delivery networks) as well as HCP/patient initiatives.
Interacts with clients and external partners, cultivating strong relationships and contributing to the success of the work.
Works closely with internal disciplines (Strategy, Creative, Project Management, Analytics, Dev Services) managing projects from briefing to delivery.
Ensures clear expectations and effective collaboration within the agency team.
Aligns with PMO to ensure project tracking against timelines and milestones and keeps clients informed of changes.
Oversees budget delivery and financial impact.
Develops Statements of Work (SOWs) and oversees budget creation/costs.
Ensures all budget line items are tracked within target goals.
Develops monthly project forecasts aligned to SOW/PO.
Provides clients with research, analytical metrics, and strategic insight.
Contributes to client presentation campaign results, POVs, and research findings.
Researches services, collaborates with departments and agency partners to develop integrated solutions based on client needs and market dynamics.
Works with the Account Services team to cultivate strong client relationships and grow accounts via effective market access solutions.
What Are We Looking For?
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent + professional experience
- 6-8 years of related experience (client service agency and pharmaceutical experience required)
- Market access client service experience preferred; HCP marketing or MedComms background considered
- Expertise in healthcare/pharmaceutical marketing, understanding of all phases of commercialization
- Launch experience preferred
- Ability to oversee multiple projects/accounts simultaneously
- Proactive thinker; conceptualizing innovative solutions
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills; flexible
- Digital, media, and technology marketing experience a plus
- Strong written/verbal communication & interpersonal skills
- Some travel may be required
