Full-Time Accountant

We are looking for an experienced Accountant to join our team in Zagreb.

Accountant Responsibilities:

• Post supplier invoices, expense reports, and journals for small entities.
• Post and reconcile bank transactions.
• Pay supplier invoices, taxes, and employee expenses.
• Communicate with external accountants.
• Maintain accounts files and records.
• Coordinate and liaise with internal parties for intercompany activities.
• Answer accounting procedure questions.
• Ensure payments are made and received on time.
• Support external and Group audits.
• Perform other duties as required.

Requirements:

• University degree (Accounting, Economics, Finance) or equivalent.
• 3+ years of accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of accounting/financial principles.
• Strong communication skills (written and verbal).
• Strong Excel and data analytical skills.
• Good business acumen and understanding of complex organizational structures.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
• Ability to work in a busy office environment.
