Full-Time Accountant

Procore is seeking an Accountant to join our team.

Responsibilities:

• Support daily and monthly accounting functions to ensure accuracy and processing.
• Provide accounting support for corporate transactions; prepare general ledger entries by maintaining records and files; obtain supplementary information for financial statements.
• Prepare and present analysis of assigned areas to management, including explanation of account fluctuations and unusual transactions.
• Analyze current procedures to recommend changes and create efficiencies.
• Answer accounting and financial questions by researching, analyzing, and interpreting data, using spreadsheets and business data tools.
• Prepare internal and external financial reports by gathering and analyzing information from general ledger and departments.
• Support month, quarter, and year-end close processes.
• Support and provide documentation to external auditors.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or business with an accounting emphasis is required.
• Large accounting firm and/or industry experience preferred.
• Detail-oriented and highly skilled with large volumes of financial data.
• Highly skilled in Excel.
• Strong PC and business solutions software skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills for internal and external clients.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Planning and organizational skills to balance and prioritize workload.
