ISTA Personnel Solutions South Africa is partnering with a USA-based client in the healthcare sector to find a highly skilled Accountant.
This remote role requires a detail-oriented and proactive professional who can handle accounting functions according to US GAAP and healthcare industry regulations.
Working Hours: Mon - Fri, 9am to 6pm EST (16h00pm to 01h00am SA time).
Work Environment: Remote role for South African Citizens only.
Internet Requirements: Fixed fibre line with a minimum speed of 25 Mbps (upload & download). Wired Ethernet connection is mandatory.
Power Backup: Reliable power backup solution is required.
Responsibilities:
- Manage daily accounting operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with US GAAP.
- Handle accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.
- Assist with payroll processing, tax filings, and financial audits.
- Collaborate with US finance team to optimize financial processes.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare finance regulations and company policies.
Requirements:
- South African Citizen (SA ID Required)
- Relevant accounting experience, specifically with USA-based companies.
- Experience with healthcare accounting is a plus.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills.
