Job Summary:The Accounting Clerk will support the North American finance team, focusing on daily processing for the Costa Rica Branch Accounting and US Headquarter Accounts Payable teams. This involves maintaining accurate accounting records, reviewing expense reports for compliance, handling policy inquiries, and assisting with general ledger entries related to expense accruals.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
- Expense Reports Management:
- Review, verify, and process employee expense reports.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Address and resolve expense report queries promptly.
- Company Policies and Procedures Compliance:
- Respond to inquiries regarding travel and expense policies.
- Provide guidance to employees on company policies and procedures.
- Expense Report Queries:
- Serve as the primary Finance contact for expense reporting questions.
- Investigate discrepancies and resolve issues with employees.
- Respond promptly to expense report status queries.
- General Expense Accruals:
- Assist with monthly and quarterly closing processes, preparing journal entries (expense accruals and account reclasses).
- Support expense financial analysis and reporting tasks.
