Full-Time Jr. Accounting Associate

Job Summary:

Supporting the client onboarding process for assigned engagements.

Assisting with accounts payable/receivable management, bookkeeping entries, monthly closing of books, and financial reporting/analysis.

May involve payroll and special projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supporting client onboarding procedures.
• Executing accounts payable/receivable management tasks, bookkeeping entries.
• Preparing financial reports and analyses.
• Closing the books monthly.
• Preparing Depreciation Schedules, Sales Journals, and Sales Tax Returns.
• Reconciling payroll records and employment tax returns.
• Supporting audits to ensure accuracy in financial documents.
• Forecasting revenue and analyzing profit margins.
• Reconciling ledgers, managing accounts payable/receivable.
• Preparing Corporate and Individual Income Tax Returns.
• Assisting with complex tax issue research.
• Supporting research projects and financial report preparation.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or Business (Master's degree preferred).
• Up to 2 years of experience.
• USGAAP knowledge/experience a plus.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel.
• Accounting software system experience a plus.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Business English.
• Analytical and quantitative skills.
• Strong cross-group collaboration skills.
• Highly organized, multi-tasking, and adaptable in ambiguous environments.
• Attention to detail and ability to follow procedures.
• Eager to learn more about US Accounting Systems.
