As our Accounting Controller, you’ll be the financial guardian of our Dutch entity, ensuring everything runs smoothly and in line with Dutch GAAP. Your sharp eye for detail will keep our financial reporting on point, and your drive for process improvements will help us scale even faster!
You’ll work closely with a dynamic team, bringing your collaboration skills to the table while helping us hit our financial goals. If you’re all about precision, compliance, and making an impact in a scale-up company, we can’t wait to meet you!
What you’ll do
You will oversee and ensure the accuracy of the financial reporting for our Dutch entity.
You will be responsible for the monthly and annual closing, and making sure it is compliant with Dutch GAAP.
You will monitor and control the cash flow to optimise financial stability.
You will supervise accounting entries, bank reconciliations, and tax filings, ensuring everything is on track.
You will implement improvements in financial processes and internal controls to drive efficiency and reduce risks.
You’ll collaborate closely with the Accounting Officer and stay up to date with industry best practices. You’ll also present recommendations for improvements.

Meet your future team
Now let's talk about you
- At least 3 years of experience in controlling or a similar financial role.
- A degree in accounting, finance or business administration (or something equivalent)
- Fluent in English
- Strong knowledge of the Dutch GAAP and accounting regulations
- Proficient in Excel, Google Sheets & ERP systems
- Experience with Exact (accounting software) is a plus.
- Experience working in a remote international environment (especially at a scale-up company) is a plus.
- Open to change, eager to learn, and have a can-do mentality. Detail-oriented and highly organized.
