Job Details
Olo is seeking a Director of Accounting to lead our high-performing accounting team. The ideal candidate will establish accurate and scalable processes while maintaining a strong internal control environment.
What You'll Do:
- Lead the team in day-to-day accounting and month-end close activities in accordance with US GAAP.
- Monthly review of financials.
- Work cross-functionally with other departments on new projects.
- Provide technical accounting guidance.
- Prepare internal and external financial reporting and compliance.
- Maintain a strong internal control environment.
- Coordinate with external auditors.
- Develop and improve systems, policies, and procedures.
- Staffing responsibilities.
What We'll Expect From You:
- 8+ years of relevant experience, including 5+ in management roles.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance.
- CPA certification.
- Strong understanding of US GAAP and technical accounting experience.
- Experience with ASC 606 revenue recognition.
- Experience auditing or operating in a strong control environment.
- Experience implementing an ERP is a plus.
- Advanced Excel skills.
