Full-Time Accounting Support Specialist

Accounting Support Specialist will be responsible for processing accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR), performing reconciliations, and supporting month-end close processes.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Accounts Payable (AP): Process vendor invoices, verify payment terms, ensure timely payments. Resolve discrepancies related to invoices, payments, and vendor accounts.
2. Accounts Receivable (AR): Generate and send customer invoices, monitor receivables, follow up on outstanding balances. Assist with cash application and ensure accurate AR records.
3. Reconciliations: Perform bank and ledger reconciliations regularly. Investigate and resolve discrepancies in financial records.
4. Month-End Close: Assist in month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entries and account analysis. Prepare and review financial reports.
5. General Support: Support audit preparations, provide documentation as needed. Maintain accurate and organized financial records.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 2+ years of experience in accounting support.
• Proficiency in Sage Intacct or similar accounting software.
• Strong understanding of AP/AR processes and financial reconciliations.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in financial data management.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
