Full-Time Accounts Payable Specialist

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual for our Accounts Payable Specialist position.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Invoice Processing: Receive and review invoices, ensuring accuracy and compliance with policies. Enter invoices into the accounting system for payment processing.
2. Payment Processing: Process payments for approved invoices and prepare checks or electronic transfers. Collaborate for necessary approvals.
3. Vendor Relations: Maintain positive vendor relationships, address inquiries, and resolve payment issues promptly. Ensure accurate and up-to-date vendor information.
4. Expense Reports: Review and process employee expense reports, verifying receipts and company policy compliance. Ensure timely reimbursements.
5. Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of all accounts payable transactions. Assist with month-end closing activities and audit documentation.
6. Reporting: Generate regular reports on accounts payable status, including outstanding payments and expenses.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional accounting/finance education is a plus
• Proven experience in accounts payable or related fields
• Familiarity with accounting software; experience with specific software is advantageous
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
