Job Details
We are seeking an Accounts Payable Technician to join our team at the head office in Les Cèdres, near Vaudreuil-Dorion.
Responsibilities:
- Review invoices before entry.
- Process payment requests (checks, transfers).
- Match invoices to checks, obtain signatures, and distribute.
- Ensure all payables are authorized.
- Answer vendor inquiries.
- Reconcile vendor statements, research, and correct discrepancies.
- Resolve issues promptly.
- Prepare month-end accruals.
- Verify and approve vendor payment instructions.
- Cover accounting team during absences.
- Reconcile credit card payments.
Qualifications:
- Minimum CEGEP DEC in Accounting or Finance.
- 2+ years' experience preferred.
- Bilingualism (English and French): Essential for communication across Canada.
- Proficient with Excel (advanced features).
- Knowledge of AS400 is an asset.
- Strong communication, teamwork, and organizational skills.
- Detail-oriented.
Schedule: 40 hours/week, Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM.
