At NetBox Labs, we're building the future of network automation. Our products power the network source of truth for thousands of organizations. We're seeking a hands-on AI/ML engineer to bring intelligent, context-aware capabilities to our product suite.
About the Role: This founding role leads a new AI initiative. You'll design and ship AI-powered features, shaping technical direction and architectural decisions.
What You'll Do:
- Design and build foundational AI capabilities.
- Collaborate with product and engineering to define AI/ML solutions.
- Lay technical foundations for scalable, secure AI use.
- Implement agentic solutions (autonomous/semi-autonomous features).
- Educate and mentor team members on AI/ML principles.
- Serve as AI expert, guiding the AI function's evolution.
About You:
- 5+ years experience building AI/ML features in production.
- Hands-on experience with LLMs, agentic architectures (generative AI).
- Strong Python skills; backend experience (Go a plus).
- Experience integrating with AWS, Kubernetes, Postgres, Clickhouse, microservices, event-driven architectures.
- Experience shipping and supporting AI-driven features/ML models.
- Comfortable with ambiguity, able to explore and validate problems.
- Collaborative, pragmatic, product-oriented.
- 2+ years experience in a B2B SaaS startup.
