Full-Time AI Narrative Designer

Position Overview: We are looking for a Narrative Content Designer to help us build emotionally engaging AI characters for interactive storytelling products. You will work closely with the product and AI teams to design, structure, and refine character content for generative AI systems. This is a fully remote position, open to candidates located in the US.

Responsibilities:

1. Design Engaging Characters for Interactive ExperiencesCreate emotionally compelling characters tailored for paid content markets. Ensure each character fits the platform’s tone, resonates with users, and supports long-term engagement.
2. Adapt Existing IPs into Interactive Character FormatsAnalyze character content from interactive novels, games, or other IPs. Restructure them into formats suitable for AI-driven interactive storytelling.
3. Collaborate with Product and AI TeamsWork closely with product and technical teams to understand character frameworks and prompt logic. Support character tuning, content formatting, and the development of scalable narrative standards.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in creative writing, screenwriting, game design, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in content creation, narrative design, or character-driven writing.
• Familiarity with modular/structured writing approaches and a willingness to adapt writing for generative AI logic.
• Passionate about interactive fiction, character simulation, or dialogue-heavy games
• Strong skills in writing character-driven content.
• Comfortable working in a collaborative, cross-functional team.
• Comfortable communicating in spoken Mandarin Chinese for internal meetings and team collaboration.
• Able to participate in occasional cross–time zone meetings, working with teams across regions.

Bonus Points:

• Experience with AI chat platforms like Character.AI, Replika, or content on Chapters/Episode.
• Prompt engineering or experience with LLMs, AI dialogue tuning, or chatbot content optimization.
