As an Analytics Engineer, you will be responsible for implementing new analytics infrastructure and improving existing systems. You will ensure solutions are delivered on-schedule following modern best practices (DBT, continuous integration, linting, and testing). Deliver clean, maintainable, and extensible code.
You will interface with operators to understand their needs and delight customers. This role reports to the Director of Data.
Responsibilities include:
- Building clean, maintainable, and performant data pipelines for analysis and BI reporting.
- Developing reporting and dashboards with stakeholders.
- Identifying patterns in analyses and data models to improve process speed and accuracy.
- Partnering with product and engineering teams to improve analytics and reporting infrastructure.
Required skills and experience:
- Strong experience in dbt, SQL (Snowflake ideal), Git, and Bash.
- Team player mentality, fast-paced environment experience.
- Previous experience working with medical claims data, risk adjustment experience preferred.
- Comfort with building dashboards and deep-dive analysis.
- 3+ years experience with dbt, advanced SQL, and Git.
- 1+ year experience working with medical claims data.
