Job SummaryThe role provides expertise on accounting matters for large onboarding AOS clients focusing on private markets (private equity, venture capital, real estate, hybrid structures). Assists the head of delivery on AOS product/service development and reporting solutions streamlining.
Works collaboratively with clients/users, developers, project managers, and stakeholders to deliver AOS products efficiently and timely. Provides opportunities for senior management involvement in operational/strategic projects.
Responsibilities
- Provide subject matter expertise in technical accounting areas during client onboarding, including requirements gathering, clarification, and best practice advice.
- Contribute to BAU reporting deliverables and efficiency projects.
- Support AOS technology activity (Tableau/Cosmos).
- Manage the interaction of accounting systems and other databases.
- Handle data management and change management.
- Test new solutions and develop proof of concepts.
- Ensure operational resilience by documenting procedures and solutions.
- Identify ways to improve operational efficiency.
- Design client-specific checklists/workflows to mitigate functional risks.

Qualifications and Experience
- University Degree in Accountancy/Finance/Maths
- CPA, CIMA, or ACCA qualified (3+ years post-qualification experience)
- 3+ years’ financial services experience (fund administration/portfolio monitoring)
- Experience delivering large-scale projects with financial reporting solutions
- Experience developing standardized/customized reports for asset owners
- Experience working with cross-functional teams (data engineers, business analysts, product managers)
- Knowledge of accounting standards
- Funds/Hedge Fund industry experience
- Experience with financial performance reporting, trends, and key metrics (IRRs, DPI, time-weighted returns)
- Strong Excel skills (complex data sets/calculations)
- Experience creating/updating procedures, process flows, and training materials
- Competent in email, word processing, and video conferencing
- Accounting system exposure (e.g., FIS Investran, Paxus, SAP)
- BI applications (e.g., PowerBI, Tableau)
