About the Role: Associate, Compliance (KYC Onboarding)
Responsibilities:
- Perform institutional and retail customer onboarding using CDD and EDD research.
- Draft and send RFIs to customers.
- Review escalated issues from external compliance personnel.
- Identify potential red flags and escalate them.
- Work cross-functionally and globally with teams.
- Facilitate customer-requested account modifications.
- Perform ad-hoc special projects.
Minimum Qualifications:
- BA/BS degree or equivalent
- 2-5 years experience in financial services with focus on AML/CTF compliance
- Strong understanding of KYC requirements
- Previous experience with customer onboarding
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Track record of success in high-growth/entrepreneurial environment
- Flexible mindset
Preferred Qualifications:
- Advanced degree/certifications (JD, CAMS, CFE)
- Knowledge of digital asset trading and blockchain technology
- Experience with blockchain analytics tools
- Familiarity with Confluence
- Spanish/Portuguese language ability
- Comfort with changing regulatory landscape
- Experience with business/project management tools (Looker, JIRA)
