Full-Time Associate Product Designer, UI - Fandango

At Fandango, we love movies. We strive to deliver the perfect movie watching experience. We are seeking a talented Associate Product Designer, UI to join our Product Experience team.

Collaborating with Product Managers, developers, and fellow designers, you will design features and enhancements for Fandango products.

The ideal candidate has experience designing for web and mobile apps, is a creative, conceptual problem-solver with high-end design skills, and people and presentation skills to inspire cutting-edge initiatives.

Job Responsibilities:

• Work with UX, Product Experience, Product Management, and Engineering teams to design usable products.
• Understand business objectives and user needs.
• Use research and data to understand problems and drive design execution.
• Maintain a detailed design system.
• Produce visual assets (icons, illustrations).
• Modify products based on user feedback.
• Gather feedback and collaborate.
• Watch consumer trends to identify desirable product traits.
• Work on multiple tracks and pivot projects.
• Maintain attention to detail.

Qualifications:

• Strong skills in creative development and design thinking.
• Drive creative brainstorming and translate concepts into deliverables (Figma, prototypes, etc.).
• Articulate creative concepts validated by data and research.
• Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts, Design, Art, or related field.
• 1+ years of product design experience (consumer-facing preferred).
• Knowledge of cross-platform usability, UI specifications, W3C web and accessibility standards.
• Proficiency in Figma.
• Experience with continuous design, A/B testing, and iteration.
• Team player who values effective communication and team-based problem-solving.
• Portfolio/UI work samples required.
