Core Responsibilities: Oversee and manage all audit process elements, including full-time and contract auditors, from scheduling to certification manager package preparation. Deliver service for food assurance audit and certification activities (food safety, supplier auditing, etc.) in the US. Primary accountability for audit execution, reporting, corrective action review, and certification package preparation.
Team Management: Develop and manage a team of auditors (full-time and contract) for audit and certification services. Manage auditor competency, training, and sign-offs, and coordinate calibration meetings.
Client Management: Understand and communicate client requirements and critical success factors. Optimize client satisfaction through effective audit execution management.
Process Improvement: Support SOP development, documentation, implementation, and operation. Maintain accreditation for US certification programs.
Compliance & Administration: Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and client requirements. Maintain confidentiality and impartiality. Conduct activities safely and efficiently. Manage employee relations, annual performance reviews, and HR related procedures.
Knowledge and Skills: Excellent understanding of food safety certification schemes, quality management systems, and general audit procedures. Strong business and management principles, leadership skills, human resource management skills, and client service knowledge.
Essential Duties: Apply good practices, maintain regular attendance, and promote company vision. Ensure Eurofins systems, ethics, and policies guarantee high-quality client service. Maintain confidentiality. Manage employee relation issues and ensure correct adherence to employment policies.
Additional Requirements: Bachelor's or advanced degree in Food, Quality, or Business. Minimum 5 years' experience in food auditing management. Proven ability to lead food assurance services, collaborate effectively, and secure resources. Strong communication skills. Out-of-the-box thinker, self-motivated, result-driven. Authorization to work in the US. Travel required (US, Europe, Asia).
