Full-Time BestDrive Region Operations Manager - Carolinas

Regional Operations Manager will oversee operations, store compliance, productivity, and organizational effectiveness. Will work closely with Regional Administrator on process design, policy definition, and streamlining procedures.

Essential Duties:

• Responsibility for overall operations of their region.
• Understand financial reporting, quantify business needs, costs/budgets, and economic earnings.
• Assure prompt and effective communication within the region and with corporate.
• Attract, retain, and motivate field personnel to support company growth.
• Foster a good working environment.
• Conduct store and plant visits, review performance, and coach managers.
• Forecast product inventory.
• Enforce company policies, participate in internal audits and safety reviews.
• Monitor and analyze business, implement corrective action.
• Ensure employee safety incidents are reported.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal laws.
• Reinforce corporate initiatives.
• Provide backup coverage for store managers.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or related field
• 5+ years of operations experience
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite
• Strong ability to delegate, lead, and train personnel
• Key competencies in conflict management, business negotiation, organization, and decision-making
• Advanced written and verbal communication skills
• Pass pre-employment screening
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 7+ years’ experience in the tire industry, multi-unit experience a plus
• 5+ years’ experience managing and leading people
• Experience in Commercial Tire Retail Operations
• Retread tire knowledge

Work Environment & Physical Requirements:

• Work hours generally 7-5 Monday-Friday, Saturday and evenings as needed.
• Indoor and outdoor work environments, exposure to heat and cold.
• Standing, bending, climbing, lifting, walking.
• Handling hazardous materials, wearing protective equipment (safety shoes, gloves, etc.).
• Comply with OSHA regulations and safety requirements.
• Lift 50-75 lbs. routinely, occasionally up to 75 lbs.
• 50-75% travel throughout the region.
