As a Bilingual Content Marketing Specialist, you’ll dive into the fast-paced world of a Canadian startup recently acquired by a global leader in the space, deepening your passion for marketing while finding your niche within the space as a content creator. You’ll work with the team to reach Marketing and business goals across different channels.
What you will be doing:
- Copywrite, edit, and distribute content pieces (blogs, webpages, emails, ebooks, etc.) in English and French.
- Support social media initiatives (strategy planning, execution, development and scheduling of social posts, engagement, customer service).
- Support webinar logistics (setting up registration pages, reminder emails, prep documents, slides, and workflows).
- Collaborate with Marketing, Product Marketing, Benefits, and Sales teams on product updates and launches.
- Support PR initiatives.
First 30 days:
- Participate in Humi's onboarding program.
- Meet the marketing team and cross-functional collaborators.
- Understand Humi's content marketing strategy, brand tone, and marketing goals.
- Familiarize yourself with Humi's products, brand guide, purpose, vision, and values.
- Learn the tools you’ll use in your role.
- Shadow how to run a webinar.
First 60 days:
- Publish your first suite of blogs in French and English.
- Build relationships with people operations, sales, client experience, and benefits teams.
- Plan and schedule social media calendars.
First 90 days:
- Publish website updates.
- Release gated content.
- Launch your first webinar.
- Own Humi's social media accounts.
First year:
- Support all things webinar (ideation, launching, executing).
- Support the marketing team in bringing large campaigns to life.
- Bring fresh ideas and execute content initiatives.
Skills and experience needed:
- Full bilingualism (English and French, verbal and written).
- Excellent copywriting and editing skills.
- Strong communication and relationship management skills.
- Team-oriented, capable of independent work in fast-paced environments.
- Keen eye for detail and stellar research skills.
- Social media account management experience (LinkedIn, Twitter, Instagram, Facebook).
- Experience working on marketing campaigns with multiple stakeholders.
- Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
- 1-2+ years of experience creating content in B2B, SaaS, or B2B SaaS.
- Experience with Hootsuite, Webflow, Canva, and/or Figma is a bonus.
- Based in Toronto and willing to travel to the downtown Toronto HQ office or events across the GTA.
