Full-Time Bilingual Loan Processor - Florida Loans

Job Responsibilities:

1. Review new loan submissions from Loan Officer or Approval Specialist within 48 hours of receipt.
2. Verify loan completeness using checklists, disclosures, documents, needs list, program/investor details.
3. Return incomplete loans to Operations Manager with explanations.
4. Request additional borrower information.
5. Order and receive VODs, VOEs, appraisals, title documents.
6. Process all received documents timely to meet projected close dates.
7. Input final validated information into Encompass, rerun AUS, and submit loans to Underwriting.
8. Submit loan files to Underwriting within 24 hours of receiving documents.
9. Submit closing documents within 72 hours of closing.
10. Ensure closing instructions and documents are released to title 72 hours before closing.
11. Submit complete files to Underwriting based on Investor and/or AUS requirements.
12. Coordinate submitted files to Underwriting & Closing.
13. Communicate loan approval from underwriting.
14. Pipeline Management: update and track information in Encompass.
15. Track items ordered, received, and lacking.
16. Provide detailed comments in the conversation log.

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years current/recent FHA/VA Loan Processing experience, 5 years total.
• Bilingual in Spanish.
• Experience processing Florida loans.
• Encompass and nCino experience.
• Working knowledge of FHA/VA/Conventional/Jumbo/USDA/203k/Sec 184 loan program guidelines.
• Understanding of automated underwriting engines.
• Time management, organizational, and prioritization skills.
• Proficiency with mortgage loan processing and underwriting systems.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proficiency in Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Dependable and self-motivated.

Additional Details:

• Work hours: Monday-Friday, 8 am - 5 pm EST or 9 am - 6 pm EST.
• Full-time remote work.
• Florida residence preferred.
• Pay rate: $23 - $32/hr DOE + potential per-file bonus.
• Eastern time zone required.
