Overall Purpose of Job: The Billing and Price Difference Specialist ensures accurate and timely billing document creation (manual or automated invoicing; debit and credit note creation), addressing and resolving pricing and billing discrepancies. This role maintains financial accuracy and enhances customer satisfaction by identifying and correcting billing integrity issues.
Main Tasks, Roles, and Responsibilities:
- Actively participate in transitioning accounting processes from European entities to Hungary.
- Adhere to service levels, policies, and internal controls.
- Discover, evaluate, and resolve issues.
- Identify and implement process improvements.
- Collaborate with business and stakeholders to build professional relationships.
- Create and update process manuals/work instructions.
Billing Operations:
- Prepare, validate, and issue invoices to customers according to established processes and timelines.
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve incomplete or inaccurate billing information.
- Monitor and release blocked billing documents.
- Create credit notes for approved dispute cases.
- Execute invoice cancellations based on business requests.
Price Difference Analysis and Reporting:
- Input relevant price difference information into SAP.
- Report price differences and retro prices to sales and pricing teams.
- Create price revaluation documents based on sales input.
- Conduct recurring meetings with sales and pricing teams.
Experiences and Requirements:
- Education: University or college degree in Finance & Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or relevant experience.
- Work experience: 2+ years of billing experience in a SSC environment and customer-oriented service-driven environment.
- Technical/IT knowledge: Microsoft Office tools, SAP FI Module, Macro and Query management (preferred).
- Language: Fluent English; additional languages are a plus.
