Full-Time Business Analyst, Core Banking

Summary: We seek a skilled Business Analyst with Core Banking and API integration experience to collaborate with third-party vendors and clients, delivering solutions for our Digital Banking initiatives.

Location: Wilmington, NC, Austin, TX, Remote. We have offices in Wilmington, NC, and Austin, TX. Some positions are office-based, while remote candidates in CST/EST time zones are also considered.

Responsibilities:

1. Create functional, non-functional, and technical requirements with product managers, architects, designers, and technical leads.
2. Partner with engineering teams to create or update technical designs.
3. Produce client-facing product guides for internal stakeholders.
4. Develop acceptance criteria for automated QA testing.
5. Validate solutions against business requirements.
6. Develop and maintain API integration specifications.
7. Collaborate with third-party vendors to ensure successful integration and adherence to industry standards.
8. Facilitate meetings and workshops to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
9. Conduct gap analyses and propose solutions for operational efficiency and user experience.
10. Create comprehensive documentation, including business requirements, process flows, and user stories.
11. Support the testing process by developing test cases and coordinating UAT.
12. Act as a liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders, ensuring clear communication.
13. Stay informed about industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in Banking and API development.
14. Utilize project and development management tools such as Jira and Confluence.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
• Minimum 3 years of Business Analyst experience
• 2+ years of software/application development experience
• Experience in a SaaS company
• API experience, including reading API documents and using tools like Postman
• (Preferred) 2+ years in financial services (banking or FinTech)
