ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:As a Business/Operations Advisor, you will travel to visit franchise stores to understand their needs.
Specific duties include:
- Implements franchisee store startup program (40 hours technical setup, 40 hours marketing setup, operation training, and marketing assessments).
- Maintains high-level knowledge and skills in all areas of operations and training.
- Instructs franchisees and store employees on software, equipment, and product use.
- Consults with franchisees to identify needs/problems, determine investigation scope to obtain solutions.
- Compiles brand compliance data and helps franchisees improve their image.
- Completes, maintains, and processes required paperwork, records, and daily reports.
- Maintains daily and weekly schedule (minimum two weeks in advance) in Microsoft Outlook.
- Improves processes by recommending operational changes.
- Increases gross sales revenue and profitability in assigned region.
- Analyzes financial records (P&L statements), prepares business plans, and sets goals.
- Identifies opportunities for future business development and expansion.
- Evaluates and improves sales, marketing, and branding strategies.
- Understands retail sales environment and franchise lifecycle.
- Trains and reinforces the franchise model, system, and best practices.
- Participates in regional meetings and completes/maintains required paperwork for site visits.
- Maintains regular communication between franchisee, Support Manager, and corporate team.
- Follows up with franchisees (virtually or in-person, minimum 1 in-person visit/annually for each location in assigned region) to ensure best results.
- Travels minimum 50% in and outside region.
Requirements:
- Strong industry knowledge (production, industrial equipment, signage).
- Basic knowledge of sales and marketing.
- Associate's degree (A.A.) or equivalent, or 2-4 years related experience/training.
- Ability to calculate figures, read/understand/interpret P&L statements.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, graphic design software, point-of-sale (POS) software, and accounting software.
- Valid driver's license, valid automobile insurance, and available/reliable transportation.
