CAD Engineer Jr. Responsibilities:
Designs and develops new vehicles adhering to future regulations and customer needs. Handles vehicle architecture, packaging, and initial system/component engineering.
Resolves packaging and adaptation issues during vehicle production transition.
Establishes physical and functional system/component integration during program planning (concept to program approval).
Translates strategic objectives into technical requirements and creates/analyzes design concepts.
Packages and integrates systems/components, benchmarks competitive vehicles, and leads cross-functional teams.
Presents design concepts to management.
Required Expertise:
- Underbody, Fuel Systems, Suspension, Engine Systems (Cooling, Fuel, Exhaust), or Chassis Systems
Skills/Software Proficiency:
- TeamCenter, NX CAD Software & Vis Mockup
- Developing corporate preproduction CAD data structures
- Positioning/manipulating models, cutting sections, analyzing existing designs
- Creating/analyzing alternative designs and integrating systems/components
- Creating CAD sessions for management reviews
Additional Requirements:
- Must reside and be legally authorized to work in Mexico.
