Job Details

About Addi: We're a technology company revolutionizing credit and banking in Latin America, starting with point-of-sale finance. We build fair, simple, and affordable financial services to empower clients, treat them with dignity, and foster financial freedom. Launched in February 2019, we've served millions of clients and disbursed millions of dollars. We operate as a full-stack startup, building core systems and processes from the ground up, and believe our tech and analytics platform will drive future progress. We leverage deep experience in building and scaling technology teams and financial products. As important as what we do is how we do it; we're a conscious company committed to our five core values: owners inspiring colleagues, innovative problem-solving, care and trust, acting with integrity, winning every day, and exponential scaling. We're backed by Andreessen Horowitz, Monashees, Village Global, and an outstanding team of individual angels.

What you will do:

  • Partner with the General Counsel (GC) and Head of Capital Markets to structure and negotiate innovative financing strategies that support Addi's lending growth, today and as we transition to a financiamiento company.

  • Become a trusted partner for the capital markets team and GC in negotiating funding transactions with existing and new partners.
  • Effectively negotiate and close a growing pipeline of debt facilities with local and international lenders, increasing independence.
  • Manage internal stakeholders, external counsel, and counterparts; balance speed and efficiency with value protection, ensuring Addi's interests are protected.
  • Support funding diversification through local and international funding sources.
  • Partner with capital markets team and external advisors to structure admissible credit facilities.

Requirements:

  • Proven track record in finance or capital markets law: 5-7+ years' experience in a top-tier law firm or financial institution, working in project finance, structured credit, and/or capital markets.
  • Experience with: Warehouse facilities, securitizations, revolving credit facilities, and/or private placements.
  • Regulatory expertise: Familiarity with capital markets and financial regulations, compliance requirements, and documentation practices.
  • Negotiation skills: Proven track record drafting and negotiating complex agreements with seasoned counterparts, securing favorable terms.
  • Communication: Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with stakeholders across areas and seniority levels, including executive leadership.
  • English proficiency: Advanced English proficiency is essential, including experience drafting and negotiating complex agreements.

Nice to have:

  • M&A or experience in VC financing.

Benefits:

  • Work on a problem that matters, impacting customers' lives.
