Full-Time Chief Accounting Officer

Bitcoin Depot is seeking a dynamic and experienced professional to act as our Chief Accounting Officer (CAO).

This is a remote position.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and direct all aspects of finance and internal accounting activities, including interim and year-end financial reporting, billing, payroll, financial planning, modeling, and forecasting.
• Manage all Accounting and Finance Department staff.
• Provide regular, accurate, and meaningful financial reports to the Executive Management team.
• Develop budgets and reports to monitor and enhance the financial performance of each business unit.
• Advise the Executive Management team on the financial implications of current and future business activities.
• Ensure effective internal controls are in place to increase efficiency, minimize errors, and ensure compliance with financial reporting laws.
• Act as the primary contact with outside auditors.
• Assist with financial aspects of mergers and acquisitions.

Attributes & Qualifications:

• Degree in Finance, Accounting or equivalent required (CPA and/or MBA highly desirable).
• Proven track record as an experienced CFO in a public company/Fintech.
• Strong analytical skills to produce complex financial models, forecasts, and reports.
• Hands-on ability to think outside the box and solve problems.
• Strong technical skills and working knowledge of accounting software and reporting tools.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
