Full-Time Civil Design Lead

AECOM's West Region seeks a highly motivated Civil Design Lead for its Southern California team.

Responsibilities include:

• Contributing to design of regional dams, water/wastewater facilities, pipelines, and more.
• Generating conceptual layouts/designs and performing calculations/analyses for channels, culverts, and other structures.
• Performing hydrologic and hydraulic modeling, quantity and cost estimates, and alternative assessments.
• Coordinating civil design with geotechnical, structural, mechanical, and electrical designs.
• Developing engineering design skills through field experience (construction support, site inspections, geotechnical investigations).
• Creating engineering drawings using AutoCAD Civil 3D or Bentley Microstation.
• Participating in client meetings.

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree + 6 years of related experience, or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license.

Preferred Qualifications:

• BA/BS in Civil Engineering + 8 years experience, or equivalent.
• Strong technical progression within Civil Engineering and Design.
• EIT certification strongly preferred; PE license preferred.
• Dam experience a plus.
• Strong teamwork, communication, and initiative.
