Full-Time Civil Engineer

AECOM is seeking an experienced Civil Engineer to support Transportation projects in the Greenville, SC area.

Responsibilities:

• Senior technical resource may serve as technical advisor for team
• Provides specialized technical input to studies and design
• Develops study and design procedures to facilitate high quality cost-effective work
• Participates in interdisciplinary review of project deliverables
• Develops construction cost estimates and estimates of technical efforts
• Uses expertise in all steps of completing discipline component of PS&E package
• Performs quality control review of design calculations or drawings
• Prepares technical specification sections
• Provides input to the development of engineering budget and schedule
• Leads and mentors junior engineers and technicians
• Collaborates with project managers to ensure timely delivery of high-quality deliverables
• Conducts site visits and field investigations
• Develops and implements innovative solutions
• Ensures compliance with local, state, and federal regulations
• Represents the company in client meetings and professional conferences

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree plus 6 years of experience or demonstrated equivalency
• US Citizenship required

Preferred Qualifications:

• Proficiency with Civil 3D AutoCAD modeling
• Site civil and/or transportation design experience
