Full-Time Civil Engineer

Job Purpose: To develop and implement the project program on site in an organized and cost-effective manner, according to the approved design, quality standards and within the agreed timeframe.

Functional Roles and Responsibilities:

• Obtain project drawings, assess material and manpower requirements, and submit material requirements to the Purchase Department for procurement.
• Monitor project progress against the project plan, reporting discrepancies and delays for corrective action.
• Organize and manage the workforce, supervise the site, and keep the Manager updated on project progress. Address technical and engineering problems, additional manpower needs, drawing changes, etc., in a timely manner.
• Liaise regularly with Site Management on project program adherence, highlighting discrepancies.
• Conduct quality checks and complete quality check lists, with the QC Inspector, ensuring products meet specifications.
• Coordinate site demobilization upon project completion and prepare relevant reports.
• Execute issued snag lists from consultants, oversee sub-contractors, and monitor all jobs for timely completion and compliance.
