Full-Time Civil Engineer III

AECOM is seeking a Civil Engineer III for our Remediation business line.

The role focuses on engineering design, code consultation, and construction phase services for various clients.

Responsibilities include executing large projects, providing professional planning and design, systems engineering, program and construction management, and operations & maintenance.

Key responsibilities include:

• Performing specific and moderate portions of broader assignments.
• Gathering and correlating basic engineering data.
• Working on detailed or routine assignments involving calculations and tests.
• Proposing solutions to new problems using modifications of standard procedures.
• Identifying discrepancies in results.
• Providing guidance to entry-level engineers.
• Performing work according to budget and schedule with minimal supervision.
• Independently completing primary design elements for engineering works.

Minimum Qualifications:

• BA/BS in Engineering or related field + 4 years of related experience.
• Valid U.S. Driver's License and Motor Vehicle Records Review.
• Drug and Medical screenings.
• U.S. Citizenship required.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master's Degree in Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of environmental investigations and site remediation experience.
• Experience leading Remediation efforts and project teams.
• Experience as a Senior Project Engineer on large-scale projects.
• Experience with planning or implementing redevelopment projects for Remedial Design.
• Experience with CERCLA and RCRA remediation programs.
• OSHA 40-hour HAZWOPER certification.
• Experience with construction documentation, construction management systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong technical report writing skills.
