Full-Time Civil Engineer III

AECOM is seeking a Civil Engineer III to join our Remediation business line.

The role focuses on engineering design, code consultation, and construction services for diverse clients.

Responsibilities include executing large, complex projects, providing planning & design, systems engineering, program & construction management, and operations & maintenance.

Key duties include:

• Performing specific parts of broader assignments.
• Gathering and correlating engineering data.
• Working on detailed or routine engineering assignments.
• Proposing solutions to new problems.
• Identifying discrepancies in results.
• Providing guidance to entry-level engineers.
• Performing work within budget and schedule with limited supervision.
• Independently completing primary design elements.

Minimum Qualifications:

• BA/BS in Engineering + 4 years experience or equivalent.
• Valid US Driver's License.
• Drug screening and medical screening required.
• US Citizenship required.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Masters in Engineering + 5+ years experience in environmental investigations.
• Ability to lead Remediation efforts.
• Experience as Senior Project Engineer on large projects.
• Experience with planning and implementing redevelopment projects.
• Knowledge of CERCLA and RCRA remediation programs.
• OSHA 40-hour HAZWOPER certification.
• Construction documentation, construction management systems, and Microsoft Office Suite proficiency.
• Strong technical report writing skills.
