CIVIL ENGINEER ‘s (Ireland)
Due to our current growth phase and project wins and future pipeline projects Egis Engineering in Ireland are looking to recruit a number of CIVIL Engineers with Design and Project Engineering experience at the following levels:
Junior Level: 2 to 4 Years Experience
Intermediate Level: 4 to 6 Years Experience
Senior Level: 6+ Years Experience
Suitable Applicants must have as a minimum: A 3rd Level degree Civil Engineering plus (relevant number of years experience listed above for Junior, Intermediate and Senior levels) working in a busy consulting engineering firm on Transportation, Bridge, Tunnel, Drainage, Water/Wastewater projects and specialising in all or any of the following:
- Roads/Motorways
- Rail
- Bridges
- Active Travel
- Drainage
- Water/Wastewater
We are looking for people who are talented in their area of expertise and who are ambitious forward thinking individuals and interested in propelling their career forward with Egis Engineering Ireland who Design and Project Manage from Concept Design through to Project Handover stage on major Civil Infrastructure Projects and who are interested in becoming part of a global organisation who aim to be in the top 10 construction and Engineering groups globally by 2026 and currently employ 19,500 people and have a turnover of: €1.9 Billion.
As a Civil Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing, planning, and overseeing various infrastructure projects throughout Ireland.
- Develop and manage civil engineering projects from conception to completion
- Prepare detailed designs, drawings, and specifications using AutoCAD and Civil 3D
- Conduct site investigations and surveys to assess project feasibility
- Perform complex calculations and analysis to ensure structural integrity and safety
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including architects, contractors, and local authorities
- Ensure compliance with Irish building codes, regulations, and environmental standards
- Manage project budgets, timelines, and resources efficiently
- Prepare and present technical reports and proposals to clients and stakeholders
- Supervise construction activities and conduct quality control inspections
- Identify and resolve engineering problems that arise during project execution
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited university
- Minimum of 2+ Years Experience:Junior 2 to 4 years. Intermediate 4 to 6 years and Senior Level 6+ years.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and other relevant structural analysis software
- Strong knowledge of Irish building codes and regulations
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work
