AECOM is seeking an experienced Civil Engineer to support Transportation projects located within the Greenville, SC area.
Senior technical resource may serve as technical advisor for team.
Provides specialized technical input to studies and design for staff's specific area of expertise.
Develops study and design procedures to facilitate high quality cost effective work by others.
Participates in interdisciplinary review of project deliverables.
Develops construction cost estimates and estimates of technical efforts for projects.
Uses expertise in all steps of completing discipline component of PS&E package.
Performs quality control review of design calculations or drawings.
Prepares technical specification sections.
Provides input to the development of engineering budget and schedule to meet requirements.
Leads and mentors junior engineers and technicians in complex civil engineering projects.
Collaborates with project managers to ensure timely delivery of high-quality deliverables.
Conducts site visits and field investigations to assess project feasibility and environmental impact.
Develops and implements innovative solutions to complex engineering challenges.
Ensures compliance with local, state, and federal regulations in all project phases.
Represents the company in client meetings and professional conferences to present technical findings and project updates.
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree plus 6 years of experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
- Due to the projects associated with this position a US Citizenship is required.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Proficiency with Civil 3D AutoCAD modeling
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
- Site civil and/or transportation design experience
- Sponsorship for US employment authorization is not available now or in the future for this position
- Relocation is not provided for this position
