Full-Time Civil Project Engineer II/III

Timmons Group is seeking a Civil Project Engineer II/III - Structure & Bridge Design candidate for our Richmond, VA office location.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include:

1. Perform routine and complex design of steel piles and steel connections.
2. Perform routine and complex design of cast-in-place concrete slabs.
3. Understanding of general renewable energy nomenclature
4. Assist with the development of scope, schedule and budgets for projects
5. Assist with the management of projects and tasks
6. Assist with marketing and proposal development

Skills/Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering required, Master's degree preferred
• 2+ years of structure and/or bridge design experience required
• PE License is a plus
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency in structural design software packages, specifically LPile, Mathcad, Excel
• Proficiency in the use of AutoCAD for plan development
• Proficiency with Excel/AutoCAD interoperability to create pile plot plans
