Full-Time Claims Administrator

Claims Administrator Responsibilities:

• Triaging, identifying, and allocating incoming claims.
• Assisting the Claims team with tasks like processing reinsurance claims, reporting, and document management.
• Analyzing claim notifications, verifying coverage, and conducting associated checks.
• Updating and processing claims in the Company's systems.
• Booking transactions into the system.
• Processing claims payments and providing supporting information.
• Maintaining electronic claims files.
• Reviewing and verifying broker statements.
• Quarterly review of claims balances in aged receivable reports.
• Liaising with Underwriters and Brokers as needed.
• Participating in ad-hoc projects and initiatives.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of experience in insurance/reinsurance claims.
• Ability to analyze reports and interpret reinsurance contract language.
• Analyze coverage under insurance and reinsurance contracts.
• Strong organizational and mathematical skills.
• Multitasking abilities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office products.
• Providing clear written reports and analysis of claims and coverage issues.
• Processing claims into the system promptly and accurately.
• Proficient in spoken and written English.
• Preferred: French language proficiency.
• Proven ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization and external contacts.
• Strong work ethic, initiative, and ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Four-year degree in a business-related field.
