Full-Time Claims Technician, Total and Permanent Disability

• Provide discipline-specific technical support.
• Support more experienced employees and assist with technical work and analysis involving processes, information management, and data processing.
• Process claims in accordance with the contractual clauses of the insurance policy.
• Escalate more complex claims to another processing level, if applicable.
• Establish the benefit amount, determine the payable period, proceed with payment, and carry out the necessary follow-up.
• Assist insureds with the CPP or QPP application process.
• Calculate and explain deductions and negotiate reimbursements if necessary.
• Communicate with partners, professionals, and clients to obtain and provide information, justifications, and interpretations.
• Communicate with claims management offices across the country.

• College diploma in a related field
• Minimum of one year of relevant experience
• Knowledge of French is required
• Advanced proficiency in English
