AECOM is seeking an experienced Client Account Manager to manage our relationship with the Tennessee Department of Transportation (TDOT).
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary point of contact between our organization and TDOT.
- Develop an in-depth understanding of TDOT's transportation objectives.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure the accurate interpretation of TDOT's requirements.
- Facilitate regular meetings with the client to review project progress and gather feedback.
- Manage the successful delivery of projects by aligning resources and ensuring adherence to regulations.
- Monitor TDOT's needs and trends within the transportation industry.
- Identify opportunities for expanding services and collaborate with sales teams to develop proposals.
- Coordinate with technical teams to ensure solutions align with TDOT's goals and requirements.
- Prepare reports and presentations for AECOM leadership.
- Lead efforts to resolve escalated issues.
- Stay current with changes in transportation policies and regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of client interactions and project documentation.
- Participate in industry conferences and networking events.
Minimum Requirements:
BA/BS in Civil Engineering or related field with 10 years of relevant experience, including 2 years of leadership. Proven experience as a Client Account Manager or TDOT Project Manager. Proven knowledge of TDOT standards, policies, regulations, and procedures.
Preferred Requirements:
Tennessee Professional Engineering License preferred. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong history managing transportation projects for TDOT. Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data. Ability to navigate bureaucratic processes and manage government expectations. Proficiency in using client relationship management tools. Demonstrated ability to work independently and prioritize tasks. Strong problem-solving skills.
