Full-Time Content Writing Specialist

We are seeking a remote Content Writing Specialist in South Africa.

We are seeking an exceptional Content Writing Specialist with a flair for producing in-depth, high-quality WordPress blog articles that are not only SEO optimized but also rank well on Google.

Specializing in the outsourcing and venture capital sectors, this role demands a candidate who brings a wealth of knowledge on these topics and the ability to write content that embodies Google's E E-A-T (Expertise, Authoritativeness, Trustworthiness) principles.

The successful candidate will be expected to master every aspect of SEO optimization for articles, utilizing tools like Ahrefs to ensure content not only meets but exceeds industry standards.

Salary: ZAR 25000 Monthly

Key Responsibilities:

• Expert-Level Blog Writing: Craft in-depth, authoritative blog articles focused on the outsourcing and venture capital industries. Content should not only engage readers but also provide deep insights, analysis, and valuable information that underscores the writer's expertise in the subject matter.
• SEO Mastery: Employ advanced SEO strategies to ensure articles achieve high rankings on Google. This includes thorough keyword research, optimization of meta tags and descriptions, and the integration of inbound and outbound links, all aimed at maximizing visibility and engagement.
• Utilization of Ahrefs: Leverage Ahrefs for comprehensive keyword research and competitive analysis to guide content strategy, ensuring each article targets optimal keywords and addresses gaps in the competitive landscape.
• Demonstration of E-E-A-T: Produce content that showcases the writer's expertise, authoritativeness, and trustworthiness. Articles should be well-researched, factually accurate, and reflect the latest industry trends and data, thereby building trust with the audience.
• Content Strategy Development: Collaborate with the marketing team to develop a content calendar that aligns with overall business goals, targeting key topics and trends in the outsourcing and venture capital sectors.
• Performance Monitoring: Regularly track and analyze the performance of published content, using insights to refine and adjust SEO strategies for future articles.

Job Requirements:

• Proven Expertise: A strong portfolio of published articles that rank highly on Google, particularly in the outsourcing and venture capital domains. Candidates must be able to demonstrate their ability to write content that adheres to Google's E-E-A-T guidelines.
• SEO Proficiency: In-depth knowledge of SEO practices, with hands-on experience using SEO tools like Ahrefs for keyword research, site audits, and content optimization.
• Industry Knowledge: A solid understanding of the outsourcing and venture capital sectors, with the ability to translate complex concepts into accessible, engaging content.
• Strategic Thinking: The capacity to develop and execute a content strategy that enhances brand visibility, engagement, and authority in the industry.
• Analytical Skills: Competence in analyzing content performance metrics and using these insights to optimize future content for better performance.
• Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field, with a preference for candidates who have continued their education or certification in SEO and content marketing.
• Exceptional Writing Skills: Outstanding writing, editing, and proofreading abilities, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to producing error-free content.
• Experience with SurferSEO is required. Experience with Outranking.io is also a plus
