Full-Time Controller

All Care Therapies is seeking a hands-on Controller to oversee core accounting and financial functions.

This role will lead the monthly close process, ensure financial reporting integrity, and drive internal controls and accounting best practices.

The successful candidate will ensure the accuracy, integrity, and efficiency of accounting and financial systems.

Essential Responsibilities:

1. Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes
2. Prepare accurate and timely financial statements according to GAAP
3. Ensure compliance with regulations
4. Lead general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, payroll accounting, and bank reconciliations
5. Implement and manage internal controls
6. Manage and optimize accounting systems and workflows
7. Support budgeting and forecasting efforts
8. Provide financial analysis for strategic decision-making
9. Coordinate and manage external audits and tax filings
10. Supervise and develop a small accounting team

Requirements:

• Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and internal controls
• Proficiency in accounting systems (e.g., NetSuite) and Excel
• Detail-oriented, analytical, and organizational skills
• Clear communication skills and ability to partner with leadership
• Ability to lead and mentor remote teams
• Experience in healthcare, multi-entity environments, or service-based industries is a plus
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred)
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, ideally including experience as an Assistant Controller
