- Develop month-end close procedures and internal controls.
- Review account reconciliations, adjusting journal entries, financial statements, and other workpapers.
- Participate in transaction processing by developing AR, AP, and Payroll procedures and internal controls, reviewing payroll runs, and monitoring cash positions.

- Help facilitate clients’ annual budgeting process and prepare budgets, forecasts, and projections.
- Prepare tax and audit reporting packages for clients’ tax provider and answer questions.
- Manage all aspects of the client relationship.
- Coordinate and plan service delivery to clients, including conducting monthly meetings.

- Analyze client financial information, assess needs, and determine advanced strategies.
- Develop and mentor Accounting Clerks and Senior Accountants through training and effective performance feedback - ensuring responsibilities are consistent with skills and development goals.
Requirements:

- 7+ years of private/public accounting experience, working with businesses in the $1 million to $20 million in revenue range.
- Strong attention to detail
- Proven experience building relationships, developing people, and managing teams.
- High level of understanding of internal accounting processes and GAAP accounting standards.
