Job Description:The Creative / Graphic Design Director will play a critical role in bringing the Nielsen brand and products to life. This role is responsible for executing the brand’s visual identity and developing creative strategies across digital marketing channels including email, paid media, website, and social.
The ideal candidate will have experience distilling complex ideas, technologies, and products into visually compelling narratives that drive engagement and performance with various audiences.
Responsibilities:
- Partner with marketers, writers, and data analysts to develop creative assets to support product and data narratives across marketing channels.
- Deliver creative concepts and digital assets for integrated marketing campaigns (email, paid media, website, social).
- Manage creative executions across all channels, maintaining brand consistency.
- Conceptualize and design graphics, visualizations, animations for websites.
- Manage agencies and production partners to leverage emerging media technologies.
- Generate motion graphics and videos to support marketing strategies.
- Develop design templates for employee enablement and client presentations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Optimize production agency relationships.
- Manage multiple projects from ideation to execution.
- Develop strategies to engage and educate target audiences.
- Manage one direct report, fostering growth opportunities.
Qualifications:
- 5-7+ years of marketing experience, focusing on digital marketing.
- Experience creating and executing design concepts across channels.
- Familiarity with UX, digital, and social media best practices.
- Experience working with various styles (illustration, iconography, animation).
- Experience managing external agencies and direct reports.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects.
- Strong self-starter, confident working independently and collaboratively.
- Experience developing compelling digital materials on time and on budget.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, deadline-driven.
- Ability to navigate ambiguity.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
