Full-Time Credentialing Specialist

Credentialing Specialist will manage all aspects of credentialing and recredentialing for dental providers at Gen4 Dental Partners.

• Ensure providers are credentialed, appointed, and privileged with dental plans.
• Maintain up-to-date provider data in databases.
• Ensure timely renewal of licenses and certificates.
• Compile and maintain accurate data for all providers.
• Complete credentialing and recredentialing applications and follow-up.
• Maintain copies of required credentialing documents.
• Track license and certification expirations.
• Maintain knowledge of dental plan requirements.
• Set up and maintain provider information in online systems.
• Maintain provider information confidentiality.
• Keep practice addresses, provider, and billing information current with plans.
• Seek continuous quality improvement.
• Stay current with technology and industry trends.
• Uphold company policies and procedures.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Associate degree.
• 1-3 years of medical/dental credentialing experience.
• Certified Provider Credentialing Specialist (CPCS).

Skills:

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Proficient in using computer, office equipment, email, and internet-based portals.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Research and analyze data.
• Organize and prioritize work and manage multiple projects.
• Attention to detail.
• Work independently with minimal supervision.
• Establish effective working relationships.
