Full-Time Credit & Settlement Risk Senior Analyst

Following global economic uncertainty, Visa Europe needs a strong Credit & Settlement Risk CSR Senior Analyst to holistically manage credit and settlement risk for both existing and new clients, and collateral management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage a portfolio of approximately 150 clients.
• Navigate difficult conversations with internal and external stakeholders.
• Ensure adherence to the Global CSR framework and procedures.
• Maintain strong relationships with European Account Executives and regional CSR teams.
• Manage credit and settlement risk for a portfolio of clients.
• Ensure clients have up-to-date credit ratings, reviewing them proactively for changes (e.g., downgrades, mergers).
• Monitor portfolio watch lists, country credit ratings, clients, and industry trends.
• Manage collateral and controls, ensuring clients meet collateral requirements.
• Manage collateral waivers and exit strategies.
• Release collateral to clients as needed.
• Manage the control environment for specific clients.
• Ensure all collateral documentation is in place.
• Adhere to CSR Frameworks, procedures, policy standards, and controls.

Essential Skills:

• Credit and financial analysis experience for corporates and/or financial institutions.
• Strong stakeholder management skills, both internal and external.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience in working with various stakeholders and managing difficult conversations.
• Problem-solving skills, including spotting patterns and trends.
• Understanding of credit frameworks and controls.
• Strong time management and prioritization skills.
• Knowledge of risk management practices in financial services.
• Knowledge of the UK and wider European payments or financial services industry.
