Customer Care Specialist I (Contract Position)
Base Pay: $15.00 - $16.50/hr
What will you do: Assists Clients and Customers with orders, inquiries, requests, problem resolution, and feedback regarding products/services via telephone, email, or chat. Consults with clients to identify additional needs related to products or services. Recommends appropriate products, services, or solutions. Works on assigned client programs. Performs duties courteously, efficiently, and professionally. Meets company and client goals for performance levels.
What are your responsibilities:
- Successfully completes initial Specialist training program and participates and completes required learning and ongoing training.
- Entering & processing orders.
- Processing cancel/change requests.
- Requesting reprints/credits.
- Ensuring customer information security and privacy.
- Providing education and support regarding products and services.
- Probing to identify customer needs.
- Offering appropriate products, services, and solutions.
- Utilizing available resources appropriately for accurate data entry and customer service.
- Ensuring appropriate follow-through steps are completed for each call.
- Maintaining complete and accurate records of all call activity.
- Making outbound calls to achieve call segment goals.
- Providing basic customer support, escalating more advanced problems to the Supervisor.
- Maintaining a professional appearance and quality work environment adhering to safety and security policies.
- Limited eligibility in off-phone activities, performing special assignments/team roles on a rotating basis or as required by Supervisor's discretion.
- Working within a team environment supporting team objectives and overall Center objectives.
- Monitoring individual performance tracking data and providing input for Individual Development Plans.
Do you have these skills or experience?
- HS Diploma/GED required.
- 0-2 years of previous customer service, banking, or retail experience helpful.
- Multitasking ability.
- Detail-oriented.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic computer skills.
- Ability to learn required information and ongoing training.
Education & Knowledge Required: HS Diploma/GED required.
