Exciting Customer Sales Support Role - Use Your Scientific Expertise! Do you have a background in Life Sciences and want to take your career to the next level in a customer-focused role? LGC is offering an exciting opportunity to join our team, where you will support the sales and distribution of our ATCC portfolio across Italy and other EMEA regions as needed. This position offers a hybrid work model, with the flexibility to work 50% from our office in Milan and 50% from home.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional customer service, responding to tenders, addressing sales and technical inquiries (phone/email), and supporting our Core ATCC Team and Technical Sales Specialists.
- Handle customer inquiries, Italian tenders, prepare accurate quotations, and follow up to increase conversion rates.
- Work closely with the Technical Sales team to customize responses based on customer requirements.
- Provide initial technical support to customers and escalate more complex issues when needed.
- Implement local strategies aligned with the EMEA sales and marketing plan.
- Maintain service levels, act as a liaison between Order Entry and Technical Sales team and use ERP systems and Salesforce to support sales.
Preferred Qualifications and Skills
- Educational Background: Degree in Life Sciences or a related field (e.g., Cell Biology) is required.
- Experience: Previous experience in sales or customer service, preferably in a Life Sciences company, demonstrating a proactive approach to sales activities within a scientific environment is required.
- Language Skills: Proficiency in Italian and English and strong communication abilities.
- Organizational Skills: Prioritization capabilities aligned with commercial activities.
- Technical Proficiency: Experience with CRM systems and proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
