About the Role: Vercel is seeking a Customer Support Engineer to assist customers with technical issues and questions regarding Vercel products and services.

Responsibilities:

  • Resolving customer concerns.
  • Developing and improving internal tooling.
  • Engineering solutions to enhance customer experience.
  • Communicating effectively with customers and internal teams.
  • Troubleshooting technical issues.
  • Improving internal documentation.
  • Assisting Customer Success Managers.

Requirements:

  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Frontend development experience (Next.js preferred).
  • Understanding of modern web architecture, frontend frameworks (React), cloud technologies (serverless computing), and DNS.
  • Experience in incident management and procedural communication.
  • Comfortable with evening, weekend, and on-call work.
  • 3+ years of experience in a highly technical support role.
  • Ability to mentor and provide feedback to teammates.

Bonus Skills:

  • Backend runtime environments (especially Node.js).
  • CDNs and caching techniques.
  • Monorepos and complex CI/CD pipelines.
