About the Role: Vercel is seeking a Customer Support Engineer to assist customers with technical issues and questions regarding Vercel products and services.
Responsibilities:
- Resolving customer concerns.
- Developing and improving internal tooling.
- Engineering solutions to enhance customer experience.
- Communicating effectively with customers and internal teams.
- Troubleshooting technical issues.
- Improving internal documentation.
- Assisting Customer Success Managers.
Requirements:
- Excellent communication skills.
- Frontend development experience (Next.js preferred).
- Understanding of modern web architecture, frontend frameworks (React), cloud technologies (serverless computing), and DNS.
- Experience in incident management and procedural communication.
- Comfortable with evening, weekend, and on-call work.
- 3+ years of experience in a highly technical support role.
- Ability to mentor and provide feedback to teammates.
Bonus Skills:
- Backend runtime environments (especially Node.js).
- CDNs and caching techniques.
- Monorepos and complex CI/CD pipelines.
