* Collecting and compiling data from various sources, including databases, spreadsheets, and external APIs.
* Cleaning and preprocessing data to ensure accuracy and reliability for analysis.
* Performing exploratory data analysis to identify patterns, trends, and correlations within the data.
* Utilizing statistical methods and data visualization techniques to present findings effectively.
* Assisting in the development and implementation of data models and algorithms.
* Collaborating with team members to understand data requirements and objectives.
* Generating reports and dashboards to communicate insights and recommendations to stakeholders.
* Supporting ad-hoc analysis and data inquiries from different departments.
* Monitoring data quality and integrity to ensure consistency and reliability.
* Staying updated on industry trends and best practices in data analysis and data management.

What will help you be successful:

* Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field such as Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, or related field.
* Proficiency in data manipulation and analysis using tools such as Microsoft Excel, SQL, or Python.
* Basic understanding of statistical concepts and techniques.
* Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or matplotlib.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills to convey complex findings to non-technical stakeholders.
* Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
* Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies.
* Prior internship or coursework experience in data analysis or related field is a plus.
* Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
* Knowledge of machine learning concepts and algorithms is desirable but not required.
* Understanding of database management systems and data warehousing principles is advantageous.
