Full-Time Design and Release Engineer (Body)

• Responsible for the engineering, design, development, timing and production release of a Body-in-white system and/or components.
• Supporting Feasibility Dev. thru Template application with Design Office Themes.
• Responsible for Upperbody components & assemblies thru Program CAD milestones.
• Responsible for System Requirement Sections & BIW Part Template Application thru entire program.
• Maintaining Standard Operating Procedures for Engineering.
• Other responsibilities will include quality improvements, weight reduction, cost reduction and other efficiency improvement initiatives including communicating technical product status to management.
• Engineer to support meetings throughout NA work hours to work closely with local engineering teams, Architeture/Vehicle Concepts & PDO with iterative models to align with all packaging, functional objectives and system requirements.
• Responsible for the engineering, design, development, scheduling, and production launch of a Body-in-Closures.
• Responsible for supporting Feasibility Development through the application of Templates with Design Office Topics.
• Responsible for components and assemblies of the upper part of the vehicle up to the program's CAD milestones.
• Responsible for the System Requirements Sections and the Application of BIW Part Templates throughout the program.
• Responsible for maintaining Standard Operating Procedures for Engineering.
• Other responsibilities will include quality improvements, weight reduction, cost reduction, and other efficiency improvement initiatives, including communicating the technical status of the product to management.
• Engineer to support meetings during NA working hours to collaborate closely with local engineering teams, Vehicle Architecture/Concepts, and PDO with iterative models.
