Full-Time Designer Training Specialist

• Design effective training programs.
• Key contact for the Design Consultant Training Program.
• Run and deliver various aspects of the program and implement the training plan for all designers.
• Work closely with our sales team to identify challenges and recommend innovative ways to increase efficiency.
• Ownership of the design consultant training program.
• Produce engaging and interactive physical and digital educational materials.
• Support leaders and new colleagues through a multiphase onboarding training process.
• Research the needs of users, analysis through surveys, questionnaires, focus groups, and discussions with managers.
• Responsible for designing and managing the training program, updating existing content, and developing new content.
• Liaise with Designer ROTOR and sales managers to determine training needs and schedule training sessions.
• Effectively communicate needs and scope to the Designer ROTOR team.
• Facilitate traditional classroom and virtual training.
• Conduct seminars, workshops, 1:1 training sessions etc.
• Track session attendance and other records.
• Develop metrics to evaluate learner performance.
• Conduct post-training evaluations to identify areas of improvement.
• Collect feedback from trainees and managers to continuously improve training programs.
• Monitor team member performance and response to training

• High School Diploma/GED required; bachelor’s degree in design, business administration, interior design preferred.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in corporate training and facilitation.
• 3-5 years of experience in a Design Consultant role.
• Understanding of current effective adult learning methodologies and tools.
• Phenomenal written and verbal communication, presentation, and public speaking skills.
• Organizational and time management abilities.
• Willingness to keep abreast of new techniques in adult learning.
• Prior experience in instructional design required. Educational background is a plus.
